Eksergi uses Turnitin as plagiarism checker to all submitted papers. The submitted manuscript will be rejected if the plagiarism index in the manuscript is more than 20%.

For original research article and case study, the manuscript includes Abstract, Introduction, Metodology, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, and References. The layout should follow the same format and specifications as for Standard Papers except that the organisation of the main text need not follow the division into Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and Discussion.

All of manuscripts should contain:

Tittle page

Tittle should be written in English (or and  Bahasa Indonesia), informative, clear, and related to the content. Tittle should be typed in  font 12, Bold, Normal (regular),  centered, one space.

Name of Author (s)

Name of author(s) is typed without salutation font 10, bold, Normal,  center,  2 spase from the title.

Affiliation and Complete Address

Institution is typed in full information, followed by  address, country, post code,  telephone/fax number. Corresponding author should include email adress. Font 10, normal, center, no space.

Abstract

The abstract is written in introduction, methods, results, and discussion (IMRAD) style. The abstract is typed in English. It should be clear, concise, descriptive and should provide a brief introduction to the problem. This should generally be followed by a statement regarding the methodology and a summary of results. The abstract should end with a comment on the significance of the results or a brief conclusion. Abstracts are written in 10 pt 1 spacing Times New Roman, preferably not more than 200 words.

Keywords

Keyword is typed in bold, font 10, reguler, and spaced in semi colon with range of four to five keywords.

For content of original research/ study case manuscript, two column, font 10, 1 space, as followed:

 1.      Introduction

An introduction usually consists of 3 or 4 paragraphs. Authors should provide sufficient background and a brief literature review to outline existing methods or solutions, highlight the most relevant previous research (preferably not more than 5 years old), identify key limitations of these studies, and explain how the current work aims to address these gaps. The authors are encouraged to cite relevant references from Eksergi as well (3 to 5 titles). The scientific merit or novelty of the paper should also be clearly presented. Avoid including an exhaustive literature review or summarizing individual studies author by author. Instead, group the literature by method or topic, referencing multiple sources as appropriate. The objectives of the study should be stated at the end of the introduction. For example, a novelty or gap analysis statement might be: "....... (brief background summary)....... While some researchers have focused on ......., there have been few studies addressing ........ Therefore, this research aims to ........ The objectives of this study are ........"

 2.    Materials and Methods.

Method includes material and method of research that could answer aim or purposes of the experiment. Include sufficient details for the work to be repeated. Where specific equipment and materials are named, the manufacturer’s details (name, city and country) should be given so that readers can trace specifications by contacting the manufacturer. Method may include equation, pictures of main equipment / tools used in experiment,  not flow diagram.

The Materials and Methods section should provide enough detail to ensure the experiment can be accurately reproduced by readers. Include sufficient information to allow replication of the work. For methods already published, cite the appropriate reference, and only describe any relevant modifications made. Avoid repeating details of established methods. When mentioning chemicals, specify the brand and purity (e.g., CaO (Merck, 99.5%)).

 3.     Results and Discussion

Stated the importance of the results and discussion and place them in the context of previous studies and in relation to the application of the work. Result may include picture, modelled equation, and table. Include clear recommendations for management or policy.

The Results section should be clear and concise, focusing on summarizing scientific findings rather than presenting extensive data. Emphasize any differences between your results and previous research publications.

The Discussion section should interpret the significance of the results without simply repeating them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often suitable. Avoid excessive citations or lengthy discussions of previously published literature.

The Discussion is the most critical part of your article, where you can highlight the importance of your findings. The discussion should correspond directly to the results without restating them. It typically begins with a brief summary of the key scientific findings (not experimental details). It should address the following points: How do your results relate to the original questions or objectives stated in the Introduction (what)? Do you provide a scientific interpretation for each of your findings (why)? Are your results consistent with those of other researchers (what else), or are there notable differences?

 4.       Conclusion

Conclusions section should be written in one paragraph, not per point. The Conclusions section should directly address the research objectives, explaining how your work advances the field beyond the current state of knowledge. Without clear conclusions, reviewers and readers may struggle to evaluate the significance of your work and its suitability for publication. Avoid repeating the Abstract or merely listing experimental results. Instead, provide a solid scientific rationale for your study, and highlight potential applications and extensions. Additionally, suggest future experiments or mention ongoing research that could further develop the findings. State the conclusion in clear, proper, and comperehensive, that answer the aim of research. Conclusion is not contain no more discussion, tables, pictures, or long equation (state conclusion of equation).

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement contains assistance or funding, they should do so by their initials separated by points (e.g. J.B.T.). Do not acknowledge Editors by name.
