Aluminium merupakan logam yang banyak dibutuhkan dalam industri maupun rumah tangga. Karena sifat fisik aluminium yang ringan, tahan panas dan tahan karat menjadikan aluminium banyak dicari dan dibutuhkan. Pada CV.C-Maxi Alloy Aluminium digunakan aluminium dengan tipe A356 untuk mendukung kegiatan industrti dan memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Dalam proses peleburan dan pengecorannya banyak ditemukan cacat-cacat yang terjadi setelah aluminium dicor kedalam cetakan. Cacat-cacat yang terjadi diantaranya : Gas Porosity, Inklusi, Incomplete Defect, Crack, Flash, Shrinkage. Dalam jurnal ini akan dibahas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya cacat yang timbul pada proses pengecoran aluminium A356, serta solusi untuk menangani masalah dari cacat-cacat pengecoran.References
