Jurnal Tanah dan Air (Soil and Water Journal), JTA, with registered number ISSN 1411-5719 (print) , ISSN 2655-500X (online) is a scientific journal published by Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta with Himpunan Ilmu Tanah Indonesia (HITI) and Perkumpulan Masyarakat Gambut Indonesia (HGI). It is at the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to soil and water. It published regularly twice a year (June and December).
The scope of the journal includes soil physics and soil conservation, soil mineralogy, soil chemistry and soil fertility, soil biology, and soil biochemistry, soil genesis and classification, land survey and land evaluation, soil degradation, soil reclamation and remediation, organic and waste management, water management, water pollution, soil and water quality, agro-climatology, and related subjects in which using soil from tropical areas, forest soil, and Geographic Information System (GIS)
