Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis biostratigrafi ditemukan sembilan zonasi dari biozonasi foraminifera plangtonik diseluruh interval formasi sumur Ugong-1 (Globigerina ampliapertura (P20/O2), Globigerina opima opima (P21/O3-O5), Globigerina opima nana (P22/O6-O7), Globigerina ciperoensis (P22/M1a), Tenuitella munda (N4/M1b), Globigerinoides primordius (N5/M2), Globigerina euapertura / Catapsydrax stainforthi (N7/M4a-M4b), Praeorbulina sicana (N8/M5a-M6), Orbulina universa (N9/M7)).

ABSTRACT

This research results from an integrated stratigraphic study by combining biostratigraphic, seismic stratigraphic, and sequence stratigraphic analysis, which can then emphasize the identification of depositional environments that develop comprehensively in the South Palembang Sub-Basin. These results will significantly assist in developing hydrocarbon exploration for the South Palembang Sub-Basin, a productive basin for producing hydrocarbons. This study uses 2D seismic data and one well data (Ugong-1) that penetrates contains complete biostratigraphic information from the oldest formation, namely the Lahat Formation, to the youngest formation currently, the Air Benakat Formation from the biostratigraphic analysis carried out: lithology and top marker information from Ugong-1 mudlog data. Based on the biostratigraphic analysis, nine biozonation of planktonic foraminifera were found throughout the formation interval of the Ugong-1 well (Globigerina ampliapertura (P20/O2), Globigerina opima opima (P21/O3-O5), Globigerina opima nana (P22/O6-O7), Globigerina ciperoensis (P22/M1a), Tenuitella munda (N4/M1b), Globigerinoides primordius (N5/M2), Globigerina euapertura / Catapsydrax stainforthi (N7/M4a-M4b), Praeorbulina sicana (N8/M5a-M6), Orbulina universa (N9/ M7)). The top of the Lahat Formation corresponds to Top Zone P21, the Top of the Talang Akar Formation corresponds to Top Zone P22, the Baturaja Formation corresponds to the Top Zone of N4, Top of the Gumai Formation corresponds to the Top Zone of N8. Based on the analysis, three depositional sequences (SP1, SP2, and SP3) can be defined. Unconformity boundaries are strongly reflected in paleo bathymetric data and seismic data, as well as sequence stratigraphy. The depositional environment is comprehensively identified in all three depositional sequences.
