STUDI PENGURANGAN ARUS HARMONIK TRIPLEN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TAPIS SERI DAN TRANSFORMATOR ZERO PASSING

Abstract


Electronic ballast is nonlinear load which can creates voltage harmonic distortion. The result is phase current contains harmonic component which causes three phase four wires in balance load of the current in the neutral wire doesn’t equal to zero. The neutral current dominated by odd harmonic component of triplen because the sum of vector doesn’t cause to be lost each other. The goal of the research is to reduce the current in the neutral wire and per phase triplen harmonic current by applying zero passing transformer and series filter variable (595.5 - 365.5 mH). The result shows that electronic ballast of fluoresen lamp before installing zero passing transformer and series filter creates current in the neutral wire is 0.265 A and the third of harmonic current per phase average is 67%, the ninth is 27%, and the fifteenth is 6%. The most optimal of zero passing transformer and series filter installment is when the value of series filter is 595.5 mH which causes the decrease of the current in the neutral wire became 0.025 A and the decrease of current harmonic average per phase; the third is 91%, the ninth is 96% and the fifteenth is 91%.
