About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JMEL (Jurnal Mineral, Energi dan Lingkungan) is a journal organized by the Faculty of Mineral Technology, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the research results and conceptual thoughts that have been achieved in the focus area of geosciences. JMEL, particularly focuses on the main problems in the development and application of the geosciences areas as follows:

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office, whether it is suitable for Jurnal Mineral, Energi dan Lingkungan focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similiarity score by using Turnitin.

This journal employs a double-blind review process to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the peer review. In this system, both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process. By adopting this approach, the journal aims to maintain high academic standards and eliminate potential biases in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Jurnal Mineral, Energi dan Lingkungan is open access journals that publishes journals bianually (June and December)

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
