Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Ilmiah Lingkungan Kebumian (JILK) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
Review Workflow:
-
Initial Screening
The editorial team reviews each submission for relevance, originality, and adherence to the journal's guidelines. -
Double-Blind Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers. Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the process. -
Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers assess the manuscript's clarity, methodology, significance, and contribution to the field, and provide recommendations (accept, minor/major revision, or reject). -
Editorial Decision
The editor makes a final decision based on reviewers' feedback. Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript. -
Final Review and Publication
Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated (if necessary), and accepted articles proceed to editing and publication.
JILK is committed to a fair, timely, and constructive peer review process to uphold high academic standards.
