Abstract

Orphanages are institutions or Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA) that function to facilitate children's rights. However, extra operational management is required to sustain the environment of the Al-Afiyah Orphanage. With this community service program, it is hoped that funding issues and human resource development can be addressed. This program offers a series of comprehensive training. The methodology applied includes Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to identify the specific needs and aspirations of the participants. Program implementation includes teaching the Yellow Book (Kitab Kuning) to strengthen moral and spiritual values, English language training to increase competitiveness, and practical skills training such as cooking and administration. This training is expected to improve the hard skills and soft skills of the orphanage children, so that they can become independent, excellent, and trustworthy individuals. The project also aims to expand the orphanage's network by obtaining the wider community's assistance.
