The Decree of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (P2PA) Number 70 of 2021 determines Sleman Regency as one of the regencies that is a Model Area for Women-Friendly and Child-Caring Villages. To realise this, each village/sub-district is required to prepare Village/Sub-district Regulations (Perdes/Perkal). Universities with resources become one of the village partners to prepare Perdes to support Women-Friendly and Child-Caring Villages. Universities assist in ensuring that regulations can be implemented. Aid is needed because in society there is still a culture that does not support, limited community knowledge, for example, the dangers of smoking for their families. The biggest challenge faced by villages is changing the way of thinking of people who still see the existence of women from a patriarchal cultural perspective. Based on the results of Community Service activities in Sendangarum Village, Sleman, the involvement of community leaders is key to realizing women-friendly and child-caring villages. Community leaders are still placed as role models for the younger generation in their community. All elements of society are involved in preparing village regulations and their implementation programs. The involvement of all elements of society helps facilitate the realization of women-friendly and child-friendly villages.
