Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a global action plan agreed upon by world leaders, including Indonesia, which aims to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality and protect the environment. Global SDGs were then reduced to National SDGs as stated in Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning Implementation of the Achievement of Sustainable National Development Goals. Next, the SDGs are lowered to the lowest level, namely the Village SDGs. One of the goals of the Village SDGs is quality village education which will support lifelong learning opportunities for the entire community. This can be achieved through village education based on social inclusion. To realize this goal can be done through empowering village libraries. The aim of establishing a village library is to provide services to village communities in accessing information more easily, as well as providing services and activities in accordance with the characteristics of village communities. This Community Service Program targets Government cooperation partners (PbM-P) with partners being Sambirej Village, Kapanewon Prambanan, Sleman Regency which has a village library. However, several problems faced by the Sambirejo Village library in capturing SDGs opportunities include: (1) human resources are not ready to face the consequences of the Village SDGs; (2) rural community literacy is still low; (3) the limited availability of library collections. Based on these problems, the Community Service Team (PbM) provided solutions to overcome these problems, namely (1) providing outreach about Village SDGs; (2) providing education about libraries based on social inclusion; (3) become a mediator for the procurement mechanism for library book collections.
