Abstract

Dieng is an area that has a high plateau. Dieng has very promising tourism potential and is very interesting to offer. However, with the climate change that occurs due to greenhouse gases, residents in the Dieng plateau still do not have the knowledge of how to respond to climate change. Through the Climate Village Programme (ProKlim) developed by the Ministry of Environment (MOE), this community service aims to help communities in the Dieng Plateau to respond to climate change properly. Along with proklim, a farming community-based agro-tourism approach is also applied to this service with the hope that it can be used as an approach that can involve the participation of local communities in collaboration with the government and universities. The strength of this approach is that it is community-based and oriented towards the natural environment and upholds traditional cultural values while maintaining local wisdom. The object of this service was carried out in Kepakisan Village, Batur District, Banjarnegara. The purpose of this community service activity is that the pengabdi along with government officials and local communities conduct; (1) Mapping the potential of agro-tourism and determining the priority scale of tourist locations, (2) Empowering and assisting the formation of tourism MSMEs. This community service also bridges funding through CSR program funds from the Perkasa Dua Farmer Group. The method used is community empowerment by directly involving local communities.
