PENGEMBANGAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA “LUMINTU” DALAM EDUKASI WISATA ALAM BUAH NANGKA MERAH DI DESA PASUNG, KECAMATAN WEDI, KABUPATEN KLATEN

Abstract

The community service program is carried out with productive community group partners, namely the Village-Owned Enterprise "Lumintu" located in Pasung village, Wedi District, Klaten Regency. Bumdes Lumintu manages fruit agrotourism as an educational place for local and non-regional communities. One of the local fruits is red jackfruit, which is widely planted in home gardens and grows along Pasung village roads so it looks beautiful and shady. The concept of Agrotourism is community empowerment. The problem with Bumdes Lumintu partners is the lack of community empowerment in promoting education on jackfruit tourism as a local fruit product with economic value. Low knowledge about plant propagation, pest control, production, human resource management and marketing. Training and mentoring through educational tourism in plant nursery cultivation, marketing and organizational managerial development. If everything is packaged in education, it will attract visitor enthusiasm and can increase community income. The general objective of this PbM program is to increase partner productivity and partner managerial capabilities. Specific objectives: (1) increasing capabilities in the production of sweet, thick-fleshed red jackfruit, (2) increasing promotion of red jackfruit waste tourism and (3). Improving managerial and marketing of red jackfruit. The methods implemented are training and assistance in plant nursery cultivation, online management and marketing, as well as facilitation of appropriate technology. The community service activities include training in cultivating red jackfruit nurseries, assistance with financial management and human resources, marketing/promotion through the village website, as well as providing plant seeds and making plant characteristic signboards. The training material uses technology transfer media in the form of written modules, shows and videos as well as direct practice in the field. The implementation team, assisted by students, intensively assists partners to resolve the main problems. The team also actively involves partners in every activity. Procurement of tools for partners in the form of nameplates for plant characteristics and superior plant seeds. It is hoped that improving managerial, skill and technological aspects will increase the production of superior red jackfruit, attractive promotional information on the village website will increase enthusiasm and attract visitors, so that partners get more and sustainable profits.
