PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA LOKAL BERBASIS KEARIFAN MASYARAKAT DI DUSUN JLEGONG DESA GEMAWANG KECAMATAN NGADIROJO KABUPATEN WONOGIRI JAWA TENGAH

Abstract

Efforts to develop the village as a tourist destination are not enough just to focus on one type of main potential, but also need to pay attention to other potentials that must be maximised and involve active community participation in management. The purpose of the service is to help develop tourism potentials through tourism awareness group (pokdarwis) partners based on community wisdom in Jlegong hamlet of Gemawang village and its surroundings with the hope of improving the community's economy. The method used is by conducting direct observations and interviews with community partners who are members of the Sewu Padi tourism awareness group (pokdarwis) in Jlegong hamlet, Gemawang village. In addition, it also conducts various trainings relevant to the development of tourist areas, as well as collaborating with external parties, such as local governments, investors, local communities, universities, and other stakeholders. The results of the activities showed an increase in community awareness to work together in managing tourism potential in a sustainable manner. The conclusion of this service activity is the development of local tourism based on community wisdom that can increase the tourism potential and economy of the community towards a sustainable tourism area.
