Abstract

Hotel slippers are the main requirement in hotel amenities services as a facility for its customers. The need for hotel slippers as disposable items on the market is still very high. SMK PI Ambarrukmo 1 Sleman is a vocational school majoring in hotel tourism which is trying to pioneer a school business unit in the form of a hotel slipper production unit to meet the needs of hotel slippers on the market. The aim of this community service is to make the school's business unit, namely the Slipper Hotel Production Unit, become part of Entrepreneurship Education learning as a real embodiment of the 3 values of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely: Creativity, Mutual Cooperation, and Independence. The development of this school business unit is one of the school's strategies in building sustainable school governance. This school business unit is managed by the school as a practical laboratory for students to develop their creative ideas in making business assets, namely hotel slippers. The community service activity method is carried out through 7 stages of training, namely: product design, cutting material patterns, sewing materials, logo screen printing, packaging, creating promotional content, and digital marketing. The training activity was attended by 2 teachers teaching the Entrepreneurship Education subject and 5 students from class 10 and class 12. The training was carried out at the school location. The results of community service activities showed that there was a change in behavior in the form of increased competence of students and teachers who were able to produce 20 pairs of slippers with specifications for slippers made from EVA foam for the base using 3mm and 5mm thickness material, while for the cover slippers using 2mm material and decorated with bisban (sewn side seams ) made from spunbound, 50g thick.
