PENGUATAN KAPASITAS DIGITAL DALAM MENGHADAPI TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL UNTUK MENUNJANG PENYELENGGARAAN PEMERINTAHAN DI DESA

Abstract

In the context of current technological advances, digital-based governance is very important. Digital technology requires the government to quickly adapt and utilize it as a tool to increase effectiveness and efficiency in governance. Therefore, the government needs to prepare the capacity of the apparatus that will adopt technology in running government affairs. This is not only to prepare the existing apparatus, but also for the next generation who are able to run and develop digital governance, both at the national and local levels. This community service aims to train officials in the village so that they are insightfully ready to face digital transformation and are skilled in using digital technology that supports government administration. The results of the service showed that the apparatus realized the importance of digital literacy to support government activities that can facilitate service delivery. Although they realize that digital is important and are mentally prepared, the use of technology has not yet led to how to support performance in government administration in the village. In addition, digital transformation requires a long process because infrastructure and human resources are not yet adequately prepared. The weakness of this activity is that the initial mapping process has not been accurate, so problem-solving has not led to very specific and contextual problems that touch the fundamental problems of partners.
