Pepper farmers in Tribuana Village, Punggelan District, Banjarnegara Regency are experiencing the problem of death in pepper plants for which the cause is unknown. Death in pepper plants reduces the productivity of pepper plants and even results in crop failure. Pepper farmers there are partners of multinational companies that prioritize quality organic pepper without the use of pesticides.
