SINERGI PENTAHELIX DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN SISTEM INFORMASI PARIWISATA GIRIKARTO YANG BERKUALITAS MENUJU PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN

Abstract

Girikarto is a Tourism Village and Cultural Pioneer Village in Panggang Sub-district, Gunungkidul Regency, with natural tourism potential. One of the problems in Girikarto tourism is the tourism information system, which is still integrated with the Village Information System (SIP-SID). The evaluation results by 170 national respondents and Website experts showed that a higher-quality tourism information system (SIP) needs to be developed. Therefore, this community service program is intended to develop a quality Girikarto SIP to support sustainable tourism, which is the vision of tourism development in Gunungkidul Regency. In this program, the Girikarto Tourism Information System (SIPARTO) has been developed using the Waterfall method with the Pentahelix approach for Sustainable Tourism. All elements of the Pentahelix, which include academics, businesses, communities, government, and the media, collaboratively and actively participate synergistically in each stage of the development. SIPARTO is more equipped and has more efficient features and information than SIP-SID. SIPARTO can be used to promote and educate Girikarto tourism to achieve sustainable tourism goals and realize the SGDs. With good management and content as well as socio-economic, eco-culture, and eco-tourism approaches, SIPARTO can increase the interest of tourists in visiting, which will have an impact on increasing community welfare and environmental and cultural sustainability. For this reason, a Village Government policy is needed regarding integrated management between Pentahelix elements in the business, cultural, and environmental sectors in Girikarto.
