In the era of growing digitalization, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are faced with the challenges of the times as well as opportunities to improve competitiveness. Smart packaging innovation is one of the effective breakthroughs to answer the digitalization era, through a series of participatory training. This program aims to analyze the potential and training that supports the improvement of the ability of UMKM actors in implementing smart packaging. This program was carried out at Forkom UMKM Umbulmartani, Ngemplak, Sleman with the participation of 15 Umbulmartani UMKM. The methods used in the implementation of the program include the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, lecture method, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) accompanied by hands-on practice. The program begins with the Identification and Analysis of Leading Commodities and Local Resources, then mapping related to the development and innovation of UMKM products in Umbulmartani, followed by socialization related to increasing digital marketing through smart packaging innovation. Smart packaging training is carried out with various series of training which includes microsite training, qr code training, packaging design training. Each series of programs always prioritizes active participation and discussion with UMKM actors. At the end of the program implementation, evaluation and measurement of program success and strategic steps for program sustainability were carried out. This program is able to provide progress in packaging innovation for Umbulmartani UMKM that prioritize smart packaging accompanied by an informative Microsite.
