Peer Review Process

Articles that submitted to the Jurnal Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi will go through an Initial Review process by the Editorial Board for their conformity with the Focus and Scope, writing guidelines, and other basic requirements. If deemed adequate, the selected article will be sent to the Reviewer for selection through the Blind Preview Process. After the review, the article will be returned to the author to format and revise the article manuscript. The maximum time for the article review process is about two months, generally the time can be faster. Articles will be assessed from a substantial and technical aspect by the Reviewer. The final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be made by the Chief Editor based on input from the Reviewers and approval by the Editorial Board. If the author is unable to make the necessary changes, the manuscript will be rejected and vice versa.

 

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi published regularly twice a year (June and December). The number of articles published per issue is 10-15 papers.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Publication Ethics

This statement describes the ethics of all parties involved in the publication of articles on JDSE, including editors, peer-reviewers and authors.
The articles publication on JDSE supports and creates the scientific method. Thus, it is important to agree and implement standards of ethical behaviour for all parties involved in publishing: editors, peer reviewers, authors, publishers, and the public.


Duties of Authors

  1. Authors must present an accurate report of the work performed. The underlying data must be accurately presented in the research report. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the work.
  2. Authors are asked to provide raw data in relation to the paper for editorial review, and must be prepared to provide public access to that data.
  3. The Authors should present an article or research results clearly, honest, and no-plagiarism, and original works.
  4. An author may not publish manuscripts describing substantially the same research in more than one journal or major publication.
  5. Authors must cite publications written in the reported manuscript.
  6. All those who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors. If other people have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research, they should be recognized or registered as contributors. Authors must ensure that all co-authors have viewed and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to submit it for publication.
  7. All authors must disclose in their paper any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that could be interpreted or affect the results or interpretation of their text. All sources of financial support for the research project should be disclosed.
  8. When an author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the editor of the journal and colaborate with the editor to revoke or correct the paper.
  9. If work on the research project involves hazardous chemicals, procedures or equipment, the authors must clearly identify these in the manuscript.

Duties of Editors

  1. An editor at any time evaluate and decision of publication (articles), does not discriminate any races, sexes, religions ethnic, citizenship, or ideology of political writer.
  2. The editor and any editorial staff not open any information about manuscript or article except there is permits from authorship.
  3. Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
  4. Unpublished manuscript (articles) that is not published after proposed would not be used as research by editor without the express written consent from the author.
  5. Editorial board journals are responsible for deciding which articles to submit to journals should be published. Editors can be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and the basis of legal requirements relating to defamation, copyright, and plagiarism.
  6. Editors must ensure that each manuscript is evaluated by the editor for authenticity. Editors must manage and use peer reviews fairly and wisely. Editors must explain their peer review process for the authors and also indicate which sections of the journal were reviewed.

Duties of Reviewers

  1. Reviewer responsible to give recommendation on reviewed article to the editor also assist the author in improving the paper.
  2. Selected reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript should notify the editor and excuse himself from the paper review process.
  3. Reviews should be objectively. Reviewers should express their opinion clearly with supporting arguments.
  4. Any manuscripts received must be kept confidential. They may not be shown or discussed with others.
  5. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential.
  6. Reviewers must identify relevant publication that have not been cited by the authors. The reviewer should also ask the editor to identify any similarities between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers that are known to be personally known.

The manuscript that submitted into this journal will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 33.5 (USD) / IDR 500,000
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be required to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs.
