About the Journal

Telematika Journal (ISSN: 1829-667X; E-ISSN: 2460-9021) is a national scientific journal published by the Department of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta. The journal is dedicated to serving as a platform for disseminating high-quality research articles, review papers, and reports on emerging technological developments in the fields of computer science, information systems, and information technology.

First published in print in 2007, Telematika Journal transitioned to a digital platform in 2015 by adopting the Open Journal System (OJS). In response to the increasing number of submissions and growing interest from researchers, the publication frequency was increased from twice a year (since 2017) to three times a year—February, June, and October—starting in 2021.

Each submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous selection process and is reviewed by two to three peer reviewers using a single-blind review method. Telematika Journal only publishes original manuscripts that have not been previously published elsewhere and are free from conflicts of interest. In line with its Open Access policy, the journal provides immediate and free access to all its content to support broader global knowledge exchange and the dissemination of scientific research to the public.
