Focus and Scope

The Journal of Business Innovation and Research (JuBIR) is a multidisciplinary forum for the publication of articles and research and discussion of issues that bear upon and enfold the field of business innovation and entrepreneurship. The journal particularly welcomes articles that advance our understanding of business innovation and entrepreneurship phenomenon across different national, cultural and international contexts. Articles should be well articulated and substantive.  Disciplinary boundaries that straddle theory and research of business innovation and entrepreneurship include management, economics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, history and others. The journal is peer-reviewed. Topics appropriate and related to entrepreneurship include:

  1. Innovation in finance/accounting;
  2. International business/finance;
  3. Strategy innovation, strategic alliances, BPR;
  4. Business research for decision making;
  5. Innovation/research in marketing, SMEs;

Peer Review Process

The Journal of Business Innovation and Research (JuBIR) applied the following peer review process policies:

  1. The Editors will review the submitted manuscript (by the author(s)). It will be evaluated and checking the manuscript's suitability with the journal's scope and conformity with the journal template. In this process, the editor communicates with the author(s). In this process, the editor communicates with the author(s) and decides the manuscript is eligible for review or decline.
  2. Manuscripts that have passed step 1 (above) will be sent to two reviewers to review their content using the blind review method.
  3. The review process will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
  4. Reviewers will suggest improvements and or accept/reject articles.
  5. The editor will decide by considering suggestions from reviewers whether the manuscript meets the requirements of the JuBIR Journal.
  6. The editor's decision is final.

 

Publication Frequency

The  Journal of Business Innovation and Research is published biannually (issued in April and October)

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
