About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Indonesian Journal of Communication Studies focuses on publishing research scientific papers on communication science. The paper should be related to the fields below;
1. Media studies
2. Public relations
3. Marketing communication
4. New Media
5. Political Communication
6. Advertising
7. Broadcasting
Peer Review Process
Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board.
The manuscripts will also be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin and Crossref.
Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double Blind Peer Review Process.
After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month (four week) for a maximum time.
In the each manuscript, Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bestari/peer reviewer that collaboration with The Indonesian Journal of Communication Studies is the experts in Communication Science area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.
Publication Frequency
IJCS published twice a year, in June and December
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Screening Plagiarism
Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Jurnal Media dan Komunikasi Indonesia Editorial Board using Turnitin.
