Plagiarism Policy

Policy: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi strictly forbids any form of plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Screening: The editorial board screens all submissions for originality using Crossref Similarity Check (powered by Turnitin or a similar tool).

Threshold: The minimum standard requirement for article originality mandates that the article’s similarity score must be less than 20% (excluding the bibliography/references and common phrases). Manuscripts that exceed this threshold will be subject to rejection or required to undergo revision.
