About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is published by the Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) "Veteran" Yogyakarta, in corporate with Indonesian Association of Communication Scholars (ISKI). Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi ISSN 1693-3028 (print), ISSN 2407-8220 (online) is published periodically three times in one year namely April, August, and December.

The focus and scope of Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi are communication Science, including the study of media and journalism, the study of audio broadcasting as well as audiovisuals, public relations studies, and advertising studies. But does not close for studies related to other communication sciences such as the design of visual communication, marketing communication, health communication, communication psychology, and sociology of communication.

 

Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi accredited by KEMENRISTEKDIKTI year August 2020-April 2025. Accredited SINTA 2 (No. 200/M/KPT/2020).
