Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

1. Scope of the Journal
Opsi Journal is a scientific journal published by the Industrial Engineering Department of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta as a vehicle for communication of scientific work/engineering research/technology in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems, Industrial Management and Information Technology.

2. Language
Manuscripts are written in English. Please download the Opsi template here.

3. Script Structure
The manuscript's composition contains Title, Abstract, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), and a bibliography.

  • The title is short and clearly shows its contents. The title is written in bold in English. Under the title, the author's name (without a bachelor's degree) is displayed and the institution he works for.
  • Abstract written in English contains the core problems, methodology, and results. Written at least 200 words and a maximum of 200 words equipped with keywords (keywords) between 3-5 words written below.
  • The introduction contains background, problem formulation, objectives.
  • The method contains the object, the sampling method and the data processing methodology.
  • The discussion describes the results of qualitative and/or quantitative analysis, emphasising answers to problems.
  • The conclusion contains a brief statement of the results extracted from the discussion. Suggestions can be written at the very end.
  • Acknowledgements contain thanks to those who have contributed and supported the research.
  • The bibliography is organized according to the IEEE style.

4. Writing Technique
Writing adapted to the existing template.

  • Image/Photo is a digital image integrated into the text; it is not allowed to use image embedding in the text.
  • Numbering tables (above the table), pictures (below the picture) with serial numbers, equations are written with Arabic numerals on the right edge between brackets.

5. Submission of Manuscripts

  • Manuscripts sent via OJS.
  • Authors are required to submit two versions of the manuscript: a full paper containing author names and affiliations, and a blinded version with all author-identifying information (such as name, affiliation, corresponding email, acknowledgement, and author contribution) removed for use in the double blind review process.

6. Author Bio/metadata
Author's biodata includes full name, date of birth, year of graduation and field of science for Degree, Master, and Doctor (if any), academic position, specialization and scientific interest, as well as other things, deemed necessary to be included.

Every author must be written in the metadata.

7. Editorial Rights
The editor has the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet the criteria, make changes to the manuscript's composition, correct the language and consult with the author before publication.
