About the Journal
KAPAI: Journal of Disaster Management and Environment is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal managed by the Master Program in Disaster Management (MMB) and the Center for Disaster Management Studies (PSMB), UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. Published online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, the journal is issued twice a year, in June and December.
KAPAI provides a scholarly forum for the dissemination of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research in disaster management, disaster risk reduction, environmental studies, climate change adaptation, resilience, and sustainability. The journal publishes Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Case Studies, Short Communications, and Editorials, and applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of scholarly publication.

The journal's content is indexed in CrossRef and assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). This means that all of our references are made available, and citations can be tracked by the publishing community with a DOI number. In addition, this journal is indexed in Google Scholar.
