Article Retraction & Withdrawal

KAPAI: Journal of Disaster Management and Environment may retract published articles or withdraw manuscripts before publication if serious ethical violations, plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, data falsification, authorship disputes, or significant errors are identified.

A retraction applies to articles that have already been published and will be accompanied by a formal retraction notice. A withdrawal applies to manuscripts that are under review, in revision, or accepted but not yet formally published.

All retraction and withdrawal procedures are conducted in accordance with recognized standards of publication ethics and international best practices in scholarly publishing to ensure transparency, fairness, and academic integrity.
